ONGOING PRAYER REQUESTS

Family - continued good health, good friends, growing closer to Jesus.

Ministry Bible Studies - evangelism, discipleship. Russ - as professor of Old Testament at Asian Theological Seminary - effective teaching and communicator. Pray for the students of their ministries as they take what they learn and share and apply it to congregations, classrooms or in evangelism.

Specific job here in Manila - similar to above - Russ is Professor of Old Testament at Asian Theological Seminary. He teaches Hebrew language as well as other Semitic languages, Old Testament Survey courses and Old Testament book Studies.

Lynn is busy on the home front. She continues to enjoy tutoring her ESL students and being involved with Precept Ministries. The Bible study at the Chinese church was a fantastic experience and she looks forward to starting two more Precept Bible studies this August.

Their older son, Nathaniel graduated from high school! Nat is at Wheaton. He has adjusted well to American life and the working world. His job is interesting for him; he now has a housemate (also from Faith Academy) for the house-sitting responsibilities; he is getting to know Wheaton college campus inside and out since his job is networking the telephone lines; and he is settling into a church and youth group in the area. He is also able to register for his classes and fill out the many forms during this time -- all in preparation for the start of his freshman year. God has once again shown His faithfulness by preparing the way and guiding Nat has he walks in it.
